First Year Membership |
$25 |
1st Year Member - $25.00 - ALL POTENTIAL 1ST YEAR MEMBERS MUST EMAIL YOUR REQUIRED DOCUMENTATION SHOWN BELOW TO [email protected]. ONCE APPROVED WE WILL EMAIL YOU A LINK TO THE 1ST YEAR MEMBERSHIP APPLICATION. YOU CANNOT APPLY ON THIS APPLICATION. A 1st Year-Full Member must have (a) graduated from an ABA graduate or graduate certificate program or (b) earned their BCBA or BCaBA certification within the last calendar year from the date of application to NYSABA. First Year Full-Members must have a professional commitment that includes teaching, research, or practice in behavior analysis. A 1st Year-Full Member may only apply for this level of membership once and cannot be renewed for subsequent years. First Year-Full Members enjoy all benefits of full membership including the right to vote in general elections and the right to be an officer or in non-officer positions in NYSABA. Applicants must submit a copy of a diploma or certificate noting completion of the ABA graduate or graduate certificate program, copy of e-mail confirmation from the BACB of certification status, or their BCBA certificate. |

Affiliate Membership |
$45 |
An Affiliate Member is any professional who is interested in the discipline of behavior analysis, but who does not meet the requirements for Full Membership. Affiliate Members enjoy all benefits of full membership except for the right to vote in general elections and the right to be an officer (member of the Executive Board) in NYSABA. In the case of an Affiliate Member being appointed to the Board in any non-officer position, that member will be granted the right to vote on any matter that comes before the Board and in general elections. |

Behavior Technician |
$20 |
A behavior technician is anyone currently employed in a program, agency, or clinic currently overseen or supervised by a Licensed Behavior Analyst (LBA), Certified Behavior Analyst Assistant (CBAA), Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA), or a Board Certified Assistant Behavior Analyst (BCaBA). Behavior Technicians may neither vote in general elections nor hold a voting position on the NYSABA Board. Proof is required for this membership level by providing the name and contact information of the current supervisor. |

Consumer Membership |
$35 |
A Consumer Member is anyone with a personal interest in the discipline of behavior analysis (for example, a consumer of behavior analysis services, or a family member or other important person to a consumer of behavior analysis services). Consumer Members enjoy all benefits of full membership except for the right to vote in general elections and the right to be an officer (member of the Executive Board) in NYSABA. In the case of a consumer member being appointed to the Board in any non-officer position, that member will be granted the right to vote on any matter that comes before the Board and in general elections. |

Consumer Membership- Auto Renewing |
$30 |
A Consumer Member auto-renewing is anyone with a personal interest in the discipline of behavior analysis (for example, a consumer of behavior analysis services, or a family member or other important person to a consumer of behavior analysis services) whose membership will automatically renew at the end of the membership year. Consumer Members who auto-renew receive a discounted membership price and enjoy all benefits of full membership except for the right to vote in general elections and the right to be an officer (member of the Executive Board) in NYSABA. In the case of a consumer member being appointed to the Board in any non-officer position, that member will be granted the right to vote on any matter that comes before the Board and in general elections. |

Full Membership |
$60 |
A Full Member must be a Licensed Behavior Analyst (LBA), Certified Behavior Analyst Assistant (CBAA), Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA), or a Board Certified Assistant Behavior Analyst (BCaBA), or possess the minimum of a Master's degree in psychology, behavior analysis, education, or a related discipline. Full Members must have a professional commitment that includes teaching, research, or practice in behavior analysis. You will need to include your BCBA and/or LBA number for verification. Anyone not meeting these qualifications may petition for Full Member status by submitting all pertinent information concerning education, training, and experience, to the NYSABA Membership Committee. |

Full Membership- Auto Renewing |

Student Membership |

A Student Member must be currently enrolled in a high school, undergraduate, or graduate educational program on a part- or full-time basis. Student Members may neither vote in general elections nor hold a voting position on the NYSABA Board. |
