Leanna Melon

Dr. Mellon is the program coordinator for the MS Behavior Analysis and Interdisciplinary Autism Studies at SUNY New Paltz. She is faculty in both the Behavior Analysis and Special Education Programs. Her work experience includes utilizing behavior analysis in a wide variety of settings and working with individuals with and without disabilities ranging from early intervention to adult services. Dr. Mellon is a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA-D) and a Licensed Behavior Analyst in the State of New York (NY-LBA). She holds certifications for teaching in special and general education settings in New York and New Jersey. Dr. Mellon’s scholarship and service focus on identifying the essential stimulus control to remediate difficulties in learning to read, verbal behavior, as well as ethical and responsive service delivery.
